Late Padma Shri Dr. Panchapakesa Jayaramanji, a revered scholar and a former Executive Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan USA, played a pivotal role in shaping the Institute's cultural and educational landscape since its inception in 1981. ​

 

A dedicated promoter of Indian culture, education, and the arts, he organized and supported numerous landmark events for Bhavan USA. His vast knowledge of Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil languages, Indian scriptures, and philosophy enriched the institution and the community it serves. With over 16 published books and prestigious awards like the Sahitya Vachaspati and Sahitya Bhushan, Late Dr. Jayaraman’s contributions will always be remembered as integral to the growth and success of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan USA.
