Dr. Navin C. Mehta was honored with the prestigious "Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial Award" during the 14th Transmedia Gujarati Screen & Stage Awards in 2014. This prestigious community award was presented by Hon’ble Vajubhai Wala, the Governor of Karnataka, in recognition of Dr. Mehta's outstanding contributions to society, education, and the Gujarati community.

The award, established in the fond memory of the Late Dhirubhai Ambani, is given to individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields, including religion, society, and the development of State of Gujarat, India. Dr. Navin Mehta joined a distinguished group of previous recipients, including Anand Pandit (CMD of Lotus Companies, 2007), Gautam Adani (Adani Group, 2008), and Pravin Kotak (Iscon Group, 2009), all of whom have greatly contributed to the growth of State of Gujarat.
